Perry, Get another doctor to evaluate you and resubmit for higher compensation. Also get a Senator involved..Look at the problems that agent orange causes and file for a larger percentage.....It is not easy and too many people take no for an answer. Better yet see if you can be seen at a VA hospital.. Good Luck, Remember....You earned it the hard way !!!!

If you feel you are too proud to go to the VA and file a claim for service connected problems then let me tell you that YOU EARNED IT THE HARD WAY !!!!As you get older you will begin to show some of the agent orange problems. DO NOT hesitate to go to the local VA rep in your county headquarters and check into the process of filing a claim.
Every county has either a full time or part time VA rep and his job is to help you get over the mountains of paperwork involved with filling a claim. DO NOT hesitate to get your congressman and/or your senator involved. I didn't put this on the agent orange site because I want -EVERYONE to read it, AGAIN, and we do have a few new readers...
If you get results, share it on this web site and help all of our fellow soldiers to get the help they need. An early Merry Christmas to all you good AVEL soldiers and familes !! Roger Shiley

We just got home late last night. I would like to thank all those who attended this great reunion. I would especially like to thank Jack, Jerry, and Russ for putting on an extraordinary show. The presentation of the reunion flag to Bob Madore and the AVEL shadow boxes to Bobbi Stephens and Roseann Johnson was something very special.
Pete I can't say enough about your speaking and presentation, excellent.
The Town & Country Inn was top notch, all the things to do in and around Charleston was lots of fun. It gave the attendees so many things to choose from there wasn't enough time to see it all. If the reunion was to be in Charleston again, we would be there in a minute.
Welcome Home all and thank you all.
