2019 All AVEL Gathering/Reunion Report
Early Bird, Tuesday, 24 September 2019
Several of our vets arrived early and enjoyed exploring the Tucson area.
Wednesday, 25 September 2019
The Hospitality Room was opened at about 16:30. The shopping was complete and beverages and snacks were on hand.
The original idea was to cook burgers for 44 people on the patio around the pool, a daunting task in and of itself. Rain was predicted so we changed it and ordered pizza for all which we enjoyed in the Hospitality Room. (Pizza and refreshments paid by Avel)
Warren Beneville and Monica Tervoort picked up those at the airport. Thank you both!

The bus showed up on time and drove us to the Pima Air Museum and Aircraft Boneyard Tour (Tickets and transportation Paid by Avel)
The Hospitality Room was open and the group scattered for dinner.

The Group Dinner was served in the Hospitality Room
The Hospitality Room remained open until 23:00
This year the Reunion Flag and a plaque was presented to Jerry Parks. Jerry was a Warrant Officer veteran of Avel North. He has greatly contributed to the success of our reunions. THANK YOU, JERRY!
